D: Please can you tell me what your problem is?

请问你能告诉我哪里不舒服吗?

P: I have lower abdominal pain and vaginal discharge.

我下腹疼痛，阴道有分泌物。

D: Will you tell me your symptoms?

能告诉我你的症状吗?

P: I’ve had vaginal discharge for two weeks now, since my last period, and the abdominal pain has been for the last week.

从上次来月经到现在，阴道一直有分泌物出来，差不多持续了两个星期，而腹痛是从上个星期开始的。

D: Is it very painful or uncomfortable?

很痛或不舒服吗?

P: It can be quite painful sometimes, but not all the time.

有时候很痛，但不是一直痛。

D: Where is it painful? Can you show me?

哪里痛，你能指给我看吗?

P: Just here. 就这里。

D: What does the vaginal discharge look like?

阴道分泌物是怎么样的？

P: A dark cream color. 乳白色有点发黄。

D: Does it smell? 有难闻气味吗?

P: No, l haven’t noticed. 没有，我没有注意到。

D: OK, are you taking any medication to help with the pain?

好的，你有吃什么药缓解疼痛吗?

P: I’ve been taking ordinary pain killers, but they don’t help very much.

我吃了些普通的止痛药，不过没有多大效果。

D: Is it worse if you are stressed or unhappy?

当你压力大或心情不好的时候会不会病情加剧？

P: No, nothing like that. 这倒没有。

D: Do you have any other symptoms?

你还有其他症状吗?

P: What kind of symptoms do you mean?

你指的是什么症状?

D: Do you think you have a fever, have you felt sick or vomited?

你觉得你有发烧吗?你感觉恶心想吐吗?

P: I hadn’t thought about it, but I do feel slightly sick all the time, and I feel hot most of the time.

我没有想过，不过我总是有轻微的恶心，并且我总是感到很热。

D: Are you able to sleep at night?

你晚上能睡着吗?

P: Normally, but l have woken up feeling hot the last couple of evenings.

睡眠一般，不过前两天晚上都被热醒了。

D: Do you have any trouble passing urine?

你小便有困难吗?

P: Well, I feel that I want to pass urine, but I have to wait a short time until I actually go.

我有尿意，不过我要等一段时间才能尿出来。

D: Do you have any problems having your bowels open?

你大便有问题吗?

P: No, no problems. 没有问题。

D: Are you menstruating every month? 你每个月都来月经吗?

P: Oh, yes. 哦，是的。

D: When did you last menstruate? 你上次来月经是什么时候？

P: A week ago. 一个星期前。

D: How many days does your period last for?

你的经期多长?

P: About seven days. 七天。

D: I need to examine you. Please take off your lower clothing and lay on the examining table?

我要给你做个检查，请问你能脱掉下身衣服，躺到检查床上吗?

I’m just going to press on your abdomen,tell me if it hurts.

我接下来要按压你的腹部，如果感到痛的话告诉我。

P: Yes, it hurts just there. 是的，就那里痛。

D: OK, I’m now going to examine your vagina, can you put your feet into these stirrups for me? And try to relax. I know it’s uncomfortable. I’m going to put a speculum into your vagina. It might feel cold. Please tell me if it hurts.

好的，我现在要检查你的阴道，你能把你的脚放到脚镫上吗？我知道很不舒服，不过还是请你尽量的放松。我要伸一个诊视镜到你的阴道里，你会感觉有点冷。如果感到痛请告诉我。

P: Ouch! Yes, it does hurt. A lot.

D: OK, I’m going to take a vaginal swab, to test for an infection or virus.

好的，我接下来要取阴道试样，检查是否细菌或病毒感染。

P: OK. 好的。

D: OK, I’ve finished. Will you get dressed.

好的，我检查完了，请穿好衣服。

I’m going to take your temperature, pulse and B/P.

我接下来要量你的体温、脉搏和血压。

I would like you to have some blood tests and a urine test. Is that OK?

我需要你做个血液检测和尿样检测，可以吗?

P: OK, where do l have to go?

没问题，我到哪里检测?

D: The nurse will show you where to go. You will need to wait for the results and bring them back to me.

护士会告诉你怎么走，你需要等待结果出来后拿来给我看。

P: OK, I’ll see you later. 好的， 一会见。

D: I’ve seen your results, and I think you may have Pelvis inflammatory disease, you will need to be seen by a senior gynecologist.Can you wait while I see if she is free?

我看过你的检测结果了，我想你可能有盆腔炎。一位高年资妇科医生会过来给你看病，你能等一会吗？我去看看她什么时候有空。

P: OK, is it serious? 好的，病情很严重吗?

D: Yes, it can be. You will need some antibiotics,and she will decide if you need to be admitted into hospital.

是的，有这个可能。你需要服用抗生素，而且她会决定你是否需要住院。

P: Oh, it’s that serious! 哦，这么严重啊！

D: Please don’t worry, you have a slight fever, and it’s best to be careful.

请别担心，你有点发烧，最好当心一点。

P: Oh, yes, I’m sure you are right. When do I see the other doctor?

当然，您说得对。我什么时候见那位医生?

D: You will see her today. I will go and check the time. 她今天会给你看，我去看一下什么时间合适。
