第 1 问：初试和复试哪个重要？

复试权重之谜：初试如同敲门之砖，复试方为登堂密钥。笔试分数决定你能否站上擂台，而真正的较量始于与导师的面对面交锋。

第 2 问：英文自我介绍说什么？

自我陈述是一种艺术，小白老师为大家策划了三幕科研人生剧本：

第 3 问：复试中英语重要吗？

重要，英语能力是隐形的学术通行证。

第 4 问：录取是学校说了算还是导师说了算？

导师拥有最终裁决权。

博士阶段带你的是导师，不是学校。导师都想招到有能力的学生， “有能力” 是综合指标，包括交流能力、科研、英语、甚至是否合眼缘。

医学博士培养本质上是师徒传承，导师需要的不仅是应试高手，更是能并肩攻克科研难题的合作伙伴。评审团看似由五到六人组成，实则你未来导师的微表情变化，往往预示着最终的去留。

第 5 问：博士复试考什么？

复试是一场专业素养压力测试，复试现场可能上演多重情境：

• 突发性文献翻译考验即时学习能力；
• 诊疗指南追问检验临床思维深度；
• 而“你最喜爱的一本书”这类开放式问题，实则是学术价值观的投射测试。

切记北大前车之鉴——比如有一年闹得沸沸扬扬的北大初试第一名被淘汰的事情，当时，导师问那位考生 “你最喜欢的一本书是什么”，显然导师不是想了解你的文学品味，是想借这个问题了解一下你对专业的认识。可那位倒霉孩纸张口就说 “我喜欢费孝通的某一名著”，显然没有 get 到问题的点。

遇到这样的问题，重点在于借书目来阐释研究理念。不妨准备一些应答策略，比如“《转化医学的艺术》这本书激发了我对转化医学的思考”。

第 6 问：复试前要准备些什么？

一定要提前做功课。

建议熟悉你报考的导师所做过的研究，事先研读导师发表的重要文章（尤其是近期文章），至少要读过摘要，如能在陈述中“不经意” 提及，导师会非常愉快。

第 7 问：有问题实在答不出来怎么办？

危机的最佳处置法则就是实话实说。真诚比完美更重要。

面对知识盲区，可用“这个问题确实超出了我当前涉及范围，但根据已有研究推测……”这样的缓冲句式。

某年协和复试现场，考生坦然承认对新型基因编辑技术了解有限，却顺势引出自己深耕领域的交叉研究设想，最终实现绝地反击。记住，导师在寻找具备学术韧性的团队伙伴，而非移动百科全书。

第 8 问： 复试的时候穿什么？

考博复试是学术场合，形象管理很重要。不修边幅不可取，但也不要太过用力。破洞牛仔、须边 T 恤肯定是不能穿去见导师的，但男生也没有必要西装革履，搞得跟新郎官似的，女生也没有必要浓妆艳抹，千万不要过于时髦。

外在形象只能为你带来第一印象分，仅此而已。就怕面试时导师穿得挺随意的，考生却穿成霸总，这就尴尬了。

高频问题 1: Tell us more about yourself.

你可以这么答：

• I’ve always been interested in discovering how things work, but my time as an undergraduate opened my eyes to the excitement and wider benefit of science. I had the chance to do some original researc MD. I’m also a keen hiker and amateur naturalist, so I’d love to combine my studies here with the chance to visit the local area.

千万不要说:

• I was born in a small countryside city of Jiangsu Province. My first dog was called Wangcai. At school my best friend was Liming. I like reading and listening to music in my spare time. My favourite colour is blue.

高频问题 2: What made you choose to do a MD?

你可以这么答：

• I’ve enjoyed my academic work so far, but I really feel I’ve got more to offer as an independent researcher. I’m also passionate about this subject and don’t feel enough attention has been paid to the questions I’m looking to address.

千万不要说：

• I can’t think of anything to do with my Masters, but my current tutor says I’m clever enough for a MD.

高频问题 3: What do you plan to do after you complete your MD?

• I feel my MD project can open up new lines of inquiry for this field and want to use it as the foundation for a fruitful research career. But, I’m also interested in the wider development opportunities included in this doctoral programme. I want to be an academic, but I’m happy to keep other options open.

• I expect someone will give me a job doing more research. That’s what MDs do, right?

• I feel that I’m a good written communicator. My existing academic and professional work demonstrates an ability to put forward ideas clearly and concisely. I think this will help me manage the weight of information my MD research needs to cover and the challenge of producing an effective thesis. But, I’m not always as organised as I’d like to be. I want to address this as part of my postgraduate training and hope to take advantage of classes and development opportunities early in my doctorate.

• My greatest strength is that I have no weaknesses! And my only weakness is that I have no strengths. Hang on…

• I can see that some of the archival material I’ll need to examine for this project may be difficult to access. • Yeah, I know a MD is hard, but I’m just going to see how I get on.

• I’ve looked at lots of opportunities in this area. • I did my Masters here and already have a flat in the city.

• I have a Bachelors and a Masters in this subject so I’m quite clever.
